Interview Radu Belcin, Artist, Brasov

Posted bytimo schuster March 1, 2018March 1, 2018
http://martinmertens.com/kuenstler/radu-belcin/ http://radubelcin.blogspot.de/   Where are you living? I’m living in Brasov, Romania How old you are? (if you don’t mind answering) I’m 39 What inspires you? I’m inspired by nature, everyday life, never actually know what jumps into my eyes. I involuntary make a random selection of what interests me. Tell me about what you do? I’m an artist What’s the structure of a typical day like for you? As an artist I try to create something that makes people see other parts of reality that are normally not so obvious and to point out things that usually slip from daily routine. I don’t have a routine, art is part of my everyday life, but without schedule. My studio is at home, so I work whenever I feel doing it, but mostly all the time. I often enjoy the dawn in my studio after a night shift. I care deeply about my freedom and enjoying very much that I can shape my time as I want. What are some of your favourite sources for information? The internet is keeping me connected to the world news, this is one magic thing of our time. How does social media influence your life? As I spend a lot of time in my studio, when I’m not traveling, I use social media as an anchor to the art world. I find it a useful tool nowadays.
