Tell me about what you do?
I’m an art critic, independent curator and journalist based in Milan. Since 2010 I ‘m the co-founder and curator of the non-profit space “Cabinet” which has hosted a series of internationally recognized mid-career artists such as Brian Calvin , Wendy White, Kaye Donachie, Sylvie Fleury, Karsten Födinger, Dagmar Heppner, Chris Succo, Alexander Wagner, Pieter Vermeersch and also some emerging artists such as Amalia Ulman, Alex Mackin Dolan, David Keating, Dan Shaw-Town and Henning Strassburger – www.spaziocabinet.com In 2014 I created “Paint!” an on-line platform exclusively devoted to the diffusion and research of the best contemporary painting, being the first one to take exclusive advantage of the contribution of renowed international painters – www.paintdiary.com. Since 2015 I’m an international contributor to ArtForum International Magazine. As an indipendent curator I have curated more than eighty exhibitions hosted in private and pubblic spaces, the main magazines I have cooperated with are: Artforum, Flash Art, Arte e Critica, Arte, Muse, Playboy and more. For these magazines I have published some monographic pieces and interviews to important curators, collectors and internationally renowned artists such as Hans Ulrich Obrist, Simon Castet, Vincent Honoré, Alex Sainsbury, Anita Zabludowicz, Michaël Borremans, Wim Delvoye, Candida Höfer, Jeff Koons, Jim Lambie, Richard Phillips e Tatiana Trouvé.

What’s the structure of a typical day like for you?
I wake up at 9.30 am – i go to bed very late –

I have two cups of coffee, a shower and I start to reply to emails

Around 12 am I go to the gym, after that I come back home and i cook something for my husband, then it depends on what I have planned for the day, I either go to a studio visit, write an article, or conctact an artist for an interview or prepare for a lecture or I work in my space to organize the next show. I usually finish around the 9/10 pm. Unfortunately I often travel for job and all my plans get upset

What are some of your favourite sources for information?
Mainly the internet, but I also read the newspapers, magazines and a lot of books.

How does social media influence your life?
I think social media are important in contemporary society, but (’m conscious that the) real life is something else
