Where are you living?
In San Francisco.

How old are you? (if you don’t mind answering)
24

What inspires you?
Determination and passion. That’s a very powerful mix.
I enjoy brainstorming a lot.

Tell me about what you do?
I run a startup called Shippo. We simplify shipping for e-commerce by offering an easy multi-carrier technology and access to discounted shipping rates.

What’s the structure of a typical day like for you?
Wake up at 7:30am, eat porridge and drink my first coffee. Do some morning exercises, check my emails & do urgent work, make my bed.
Get to work at 9am & this is where it gets unpredictable. I do anything from general management, recruiting, sales, business development, fundraising, brainstorming, reading to ordering groceries for the team.
My day is mostly spent in meetings, on the phone or writing emails. The team is growing fast, we are now 16 people and managing that is more difficult than I thought it would be.
I finish the day by going jogging and doing yoga. If possible I also meditate, call friends & family and prepare dinner on a daily basis.

What are some of your favourite sources for information?
Twitter, BBC news, Spiegel online. Also, hackernews and reddit for browsing.

How does social media influence your life?
Twitter is a great way to connect with people and learn about what people I admire are thinking about. Both Twitter and Facebook have become a gateway/an aggregator for news.
