I have always been a naturally creative person. However, my
schizophrenia diagnosis has added an even deeper level of complexity and
uniqueness to my work. The unpredictable nature of my condition allows
me to approach my subjects differently, finding beauty in the
contrasts and juxtapositions of urban life. I am drawn to the vibrant
energy of street scenes and the opulence of luxury storefronts, as well
as the solemnity of churches. My business background gives me a critical
eye, but my schizophrenia allows me to see things from a fresh and
innovative perspective. Together, these two aspects of myself come
to create powerful and thought-provoking art.
