I photograph the beauty of contrasts and opposites in urban life every day. I am fascinated by the vibrant energy of street scenes, the glamour of luxury shops and the sublimity of churches. I capture life in pictures.

But what do these pictures mean to me? Are they art? Are they documentation? Are they intervention?

Maybe they are everything and nothing at the same time. Maybe they are fragments of a world that is constantly changing and that I want to capture. Maybe they are expressions of my perception and thinking.

I don’t believe in a single truth or beauty. I believe in the diversity and complexity of reality. My photos are not finished products or answers. They are questions and impulses. They are invitations to dialogue and reflection. They are windows to other perspectives.

My photos are my way of living and creating – a powerful and thought-provoking art
